I still have a week to go on these, but I couldn't resist posting SOMETHING. Sorry that I have been such a slow blogger lately.

Madeleines!

I promise I am painting, though what I am going to share with you today is an example of the culinary arts (painting-wise, I am working on a four week pose, so it will take a while for that update!) This morning I baked madeleines, with my new madeleine pan (acquired in Angers over the weekend). I had the idea of using it in still life, but I couldn't resist trying it out.

I got the recipe from David Lebovitz's blog. After baking these little lemony delights, I can state with certainty that David Lebovitz is a wonderful man!
